Thank you for your concern. The earthquake has been devastating and sorrowful for many. My heart sinks even as I write this mail to you. I am sorry that I could not reply to you earlier as I have been busy volunteering and working for relief in several places.
I have visited several places affected by earthquake and the condition is very critical. As Bijay mentioned, we definitely need as much help as we can get. There are several phases we have to deal with 1. Rescue 2. Relief and 3. Reform.
We are focusing on Relief and Reform.
The organization where Bijay and I both work, Children's Peace Organization Nepal (CPON), has been working with over 50 schools with over 50 staffs and volunteers. In regard to the recent devastating earthquake which we all witnessed on 25th April, 2015, over 668 schools have been totally demolished in the 19 disaster struck districts and over 2000 schools have been destructed to some extent and many children have lost their supply of educational materials (books, stationery, school dress etc). So, CPON is arranging to be working on reforming the demolished schools and helping children in what ever way possible.
It would be great if you could also help us in any way possible.

My club, Rotaract Club of Kathmandu Mid-Town has identified some of the places in Kirtipur, Thaiba and Kavre where the devastating earthquake has taken away the houses of many families... In these places as an immediate and considerably long term shelter, our club will be facilitating in distributing PVC Sheets to the earthquake victims. We are in need of approximately 300 PVC Sheets.
Here's where you can help us with. PVC sheets per household will cost us around US$100 (Including transportation). So, what ever fund that we receive, we will be using to supply them... if we can raise more money, then we can even look into other disaster struck areas.
